I'd have loved to have seen the expressions on their faces...

TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa Police and firefighters were working to recover a body after it was found washed up on a sandbar near 71st and Riverside when the subject got up and walked away.

    1. SMH they couldn't just walk over and check on him,, gotta get a boat,, the overdramaction of everything these days boggles the mind. Surprisingly I didn't see divers but I'm sure they were on stand-by

    2. They are maybe being a little overdramatic, but those sandbars on the Arkansas River are nothing to play around with. Take a wrong step, and instead of being ankle deep in water you suddenly fall into a hole and the sand collapses in around you. Only fools and tweakers dick around out there.

    3. Maybe so but a line of rope tied to the first guy makes more sense to me if the water is that unpredictable. One guy go out with a med kit or hell maybe just holler to the guy and see if he answers before beginning the clown show.
But hey WTF do I know

  4. So if a guy is laying out there sunning himself which is perfectly legal and somebody thinks he's in trouble and calls the authorities, then the guy who was just laying there minding his own business and catching some sun is on the hook for the bill? Seriously?
