Portland Firefighter Charged With Kidnapping in His Quest to Recover Stolen Weed
An off-duty firefighter with Portland Fire & Rescue achieved something Aug. 14 that Portland police have struggled to do: Douglas L. Bourland solved the burglary of a cannabis store.
Just one problem: It was his weed store and his investigative technique allegedly included kidnapping.
I don't see a problem here. If he had been wearing a blue uniform, the thief would still have been abducted and locked-up for the night. Except, they probably wouldn't have caught the commonplaces. Seems that firefighters are far more effective at police work that the police!
I guess that they didn’t find the stolen weed.
