  1. #1: for a moment I thought this was a car door, but this is something much more lethal to a turkey.

    1. I was on a stand sitting on a log many years ago and had a small doe jumped over the end my rifle barrel.

  3. I had a flock of endangered Jersey Buff turkeys here on my hill . Over the last twenty years so many Wild Turkeys interbred with them the whole flock looked completely wild . My last hen we called Junior took off down in the valley with a flock of Wilds and stayed with them . Before you shoot any call out Junior and if they come to you feed em . Junior likes raisins .

    1. This is in Grand Rapids, about 45 minutes east of me. I live on Lake Michigan, where instead of punching or tackling, they have decided to just shoot each other. It has gotten so bad that my wife asks me if I have my carry gun with me when we leave the house. The same woman who never liked guns before.

    1. Grinding head moves in and out. Programmed to do every other, or every 3rd flat, then switching to the next. Kinda like 'pecking' but on a moving object.

    2. This was up over at Bustedknuckles. That is a lobed grinder wheel (like a cam) that is closely CNC timed to the turning work and is not in constant contact. Even with all the technology it's still impressive.

  7. 8) People who want a fancy expensive car often regret it once they get out in the real world and find out how hard it is to live with a car when the paint job (for example) costs more than most cars. My college roommates father had a Ferrari back in the 80's that they ended up getting rid of because the only thing it was good for was trailering to a race track. These days a set of tires for a Bugatti Veyron costs about $30,000 and lasts 3000 to 5000 miles. Even if you can afford it it's a pain in the ass.
