Not a dead short Sir. At room temperature lithium reacts with the oxygen in air. And rather entergetically at that. The study of the chemistry of batteries is done in the Physical Chemistry department. I had a couple of buddies that were working with lithium back when I was at school.
I didn't have the head phones on first time through. Then I noticed the black finger nail polish during the first replay, still with no head phones, so I had to listen.
I don't think wrapping a burning LI ion battery in a towel is going to put out the fire sweety.
...and you ruined a good knife in the process, not to mention gassing yourself with toxic fumes.
I guess he/she/it never heard the expression, "Don't try this at home".
I just sat here thinking, "No, she isn't gonna...No she surely isn't gonna..." and then she did. Bet that won't be a mistake she makes twice, if she didn't burn down her house in the process.
Okay. I jumped a little. Not gonna lie.
ReplyDeleteA flaming idiot.
ReplyDeleteI just looove those youtube videos that teach us what NOT to do.
ReplyDeleteis there a video somewhere teaching us how not to withdraw from Afghanistan?
HAHAHAHAHA!!!
DeleteIf so, Valarie Jarrett isn't interested. She already knows everything about everything.
Are you looking for one in English or Russian? Good luck either way...
DeleteThis is your brain on lithium.
ReplyDeleteStupidity *should* hurt.
ReplyDeleteAh, another one of your videos where I stare in morbid fascination, muttering, "No. She isn't..."
ReplyDeleteIs there a follow up video of her trying to extinguish the fire with water?
It's called..... "Chemistry"
ReplyDeleteIt's also called "Electrical engineering"
Dead short + H2O = "Boom"
Dumb fuck.
Not a dead short Sir.

Clearly not a budding rocket scientist.
ReplyDeleteDamn!
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell did she think she was doing???
ReplyDeleteShe didn't, she never seen those youtube lithium battery video's. The vape pens in pockets are the funniest.
DeleteLithium Ion batteries are full of smoke just waiting to get let out.
ReplyDeleteLithium chemistry deserves your respect.

ReplyDeletePersonally, I expected an impalement, not a phone shattering kaboom.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna try that at home for sure!
