Unfuckingbelievable
U.S. officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies to grant entry into the militant-controlled outer perimeter of the city’s airport, a choice that's prompted outrage behind the scenes from lawmakers and military officials.

ReplyDeleteThis is what it looks like. The taliban run that government now. They absolutely control entry to that airport. Your choices are to give them a list or don't give them a list. If you don't give a list then none of your people get through. The taliban dont need a "kill list". They already have total access to government records and they know with certainty who fought against them.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, only Taliban approved people will get into the airport. There are no other choices to make. The soviets didnt release enemies after the wall went up. Neither will the taliban. This list might... MIGHT be useful for letting old men and women out and others who have no value. As chairman Mao once famously asked Nixon once, "how man millions of peasants would you like?"
