Washington School Forces Unvaccinated Student To Wear An Ankle Monitor
Taking some cues from the craptastic country of Australia, a public high school in Eatonville, Washington (which I know can be pretty craptastic, having lived in that state for 13 years) told an unvaccinated teen she had to wear an ankle tracker for volleyball practice. Like she was a criminal. This actually gets worse, and as I keep saying probably to the point of annoyance, do not dismiss this story simply because it takes place in Heir Inslee's police state of Washington. Not only did the school fail to inform the mother of the teen, the school also forbade the mother from taking a picture of the tracker on the teen's ankle. I'll share my thoughts on that below.

Yeah, first dead NVA I saw had already had a 9thID patch stuffed into the big crack in his skull. Right after Tet '68, and it was our way of markin' our territory. Figured that when his buddies came for his body that night, they'd get the idea they should head right back up the HCM Trail.

ReplyDeleteAustralia is a husk of its former self, with the citizens cowed by Authority and they have all drank the Koolaid, submitting to unconscionable social controls.
Nearly 40 years of soft Socialist Welfare State disincentivation to have a crack and take a risk has rendered the population scared and compliant.

The school said it was to "maintaining social distancing guidelines". I think they are smart enough to know:
ReplyDelete1. You would need to put a monitor on everybody to measure that, not just the unvaccinated.
2. The monitors don't measure location that precisely anyway.
3. They're playing volleyball for God's sake, sometimes they bump into each other, much less get within six feet.
So the school is doing a CYA to punish/embarrass the unvaccinated.
Your missing context is that if you don't obey, you can't participate in sports. But it's totally voluntary. Fuck that with a rusty cactus.
