What? No drugs in the van?

LOXLEY, Ala. (WKRG) – As the sun beat down Wednesday morning at the Love’s Truck Stop in Loxley, Alabama, a customer noticed two toddlers, a boy and a girl, walking by themselves around the very busy parking lot.

“There’s RVs, there are trailers, there’s construction equipment, boats going through that front parking lot constantly,” says Doug Phillips with Loxley Police. “They would never have seen a child that small run up underneath one of them.”

The children were naked, alone and Phillips says there was something else. “The children were covered quite intensely with feces.” He says it was in their hair, on their faces and appeared to have been there for days.

  2. Immigrants from Romania returning from a beach vacation but too poor, stupid, uncaring (pick one) to properly care for their kids. Let's import some more of these third world people to help make our country great!/// (And before any of the lib lurkers accuse me of racism or anything resembling that, my wife's a "legal" immigrant from Colombia that knows how to act like a human being.)

    2. I personally don't think the kids "got" out of the van, I think they were put out so as not to disturb mommy and daddy.

  3. Tall tree, short rope. It seems I see that as a solution more and more these days.

  4. This story smells funny. So the parents are riding about for days with shit covered kids? What does it mean to intensely cover them. LEO are prone to exaggerate and the media love any juicy story no matter how true. Weird facts here.

    1. I believe "intensely" is dried and more applied on top.

  5. I think the feces was to prevent anyone from grabbing them, tossing them in a car, and driving away.
