White House: ‘Certainly a Fair Amount’ of U.S. Weaponry Is in the Hands of the Taliban
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Tuesday that "certainly a fair amount" of U.S. weaponry that was in the possession of Afghan Security Forces has now fallen in the hands of the Taliban.
The rough-cut of the equipment left behind (h/t Eatgrueldog):
19 x A-29 Super Tucano close air support attack aircraft 10 x AC-208 attack aircraft 4 x C-130 Hercules transport aircraft 24 x Cessna 208 utility aircraft 18 x Pilatus PC-12 Special mission wing aircraft 95 x Mi-8/17 transport helicopters 8 x Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters 10 x UH-1 Huey helicopters 68 x MD530F light attack helicopters 158 x UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters 55 x T-55/62 main battle tanks 8500 x Humvee’s 634 x M1117 armored cars 173 x M113 armored personnel carriers 155 x MRAP armored cars 1000+ mortars 150 x D30 medium range artillery pieces 104,000 x M16A2 rifles 10,000 x M4 carbines
I'm sure the Taliban (and Russia & China) appreciate the gift, especially the ability to see our current technology.
I remember when one of my classmates lost a rifle on a night land nav course at Fort Benning. We spent the entire next day walking the course at double arm intervals until we found it. Now, the (P)Resident and the JCS lose billions of dollars worth of weapons with no repercussions. I think I was cheated.

ReplyDeleteAnd Slow Joe and the JCS know exactly where the weapons are. If that don't frost your ass...
DeleteThe Navy gets really pissy about a missing round when turning over the watch, and look at this shit.
Yeah, but you guys are peasants; your time means nothing. Inconveniencing a noble...now that's something serious.
Delete- The Government.
One might get the idea our "betters" don't like us anymore. Ohio Guy
ReplyDeleteThe original plan for the destruction of America is coming together really nicely for those who installed sleepy Joe and Camel toes....

Thanks for the list. I was going to say the Taliban "inherited" 75,000 vehicles. Biden and his entire crew should immediately resign in disgrace.
