Had a 3-tooth swamp man swear to me that most of your generic frozen fish sticks are gar. Said he caught big-uns and sold them for good cash to the company making Mrs. Paul's fish sticks. I never checked. He offered to take me fishing but after hearing some of his stories I had to pass.
Looks like she was bow fishing. Gar is a nasty, oily, bony fish we used to give the Blacks who were cane pole fishing. They loved them. Made Gar balls. The small ones she has were called Jack fish where I come from. I don't know if that is a separate species or just a name. ... and yes, I heard that they were commercially made into fish sticks also but the flesh seems to me to be completely different.
She can crack coconuts with them thighs!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness that is a healthy looking young lady
ReplyDeleteNo doubt about that. Those thunder thighs definitely taper down into a very feminine waist. Then things just get better as you continue heading north.
DeleteLooks like she's worked up a sweat. Good, I likes 'em slippery and stinky!
ReplyDeleteHow do you fix gar?
ReplyDeleteDaryl
Smoked gar ain't bad. I've eaten it before.
