Doctor refuses to treat unvaccinated patients

A Florida doctor says she will no longer treat patients in person if they are unvaccinated against Covid-19.

Dr. Linda Marraccini said the decision was intended to protect her immunocompromised patients, such as those undergoing chemotherapy, and who are at a greater risk of infection.

    1. As you all know, the short version of the Hippocratic Oath is, "First, do no harm".
I think the new oath is either:
      "Show Me the Money!"
      or
      "It's All About the Benjamins".

  2. She's got (or ought to have) a perfect right to refuse to take any person as a patient [1], for whatever reason she wants. That said, her reasoning is either stupid, or deliberately deceptive.

[1] No, I don't care that she's "a doctor" and "people could die if they don't get to see her!" Being an MD is a TRADE. It's no different from being a plumber, or electrician, or a deli clerk. Except that fewer plumbers, electricians, and deli clerks think they are God.

    1. All true, all true.

Now, if she was a Christian baker, that would be completely different.

    3. A plumber, or electrician or a deli clerk can't just bury their mistakes like a doctor can.

  5. So a physician can refuse to treat a cancer patient if they smoked? Or an obese patient? How about motorcycle riders because that’s dangerous.

I worked in a hospital 17 years. During that time, I had my share of patients who were criminals, drug abusers, AIDS patients, murderers, child abusers, etc. Their position was of no importance; they were a patient in need of care. Even though I did not like the patient, it wasn’t my place to refuse to assist in treatment.

Nice to know the Hippocratic Oath means so much to this physician.

  7. No problem. More "Doctors" are following the money with this plandemic. Each one that refused early treatment puts them on the "refuses early treatment" list for what that is worth. They truly are created two classes of people. What class are you?

  10. A doctor can refuse to see/treat a patient for whatever reasons, IF it is not an emergency. I hope all her patients whether inject with the experimental gene therapy or not start asking for their records forwarded to other physicians. Cause that's where I'm at if mine pushes again about it.

  14. The various Covid vaccines do not prevent individuals from contracting or spreading the Covid virus, they only claim to reduce the severity of the symptoms. I'm having trouble believing that a doctor doesn't know this.

  18. Wait, didnt doctors and hospitals cancel cancer treatments during the lockdown? Didn't COVID "deaths" prove more lucrative (you know $30K per death, even motorcycle deatha)? Yes, we definitely trust medicine.
