Sixteen people inside and overloading it by 1000 pounds, and they blame the elevator?
Jaumarcus's knickname was Stretch.
ReplyDelete16 people.....a thousand pounds over the stated weight limit and the morons are blaming the elevator. Too stupid to do some BASIC MATH. Bet all those "athletes" aren't Rhodes Scholars either.
ReplyDeleteWhat did I miss?
ReplyDeleteDid the elevator get stuck, then the occupants pried open the doors and Jaumarcus climbed out, only to get pinned between the the cab and the floor?
That seems to be what happened, but it sure as hell isn’t written that way. Why? Because that would place the blame squarely on the deceased’s shoulders. Instead, it sounds like they are trying to shift the blame to the evil, greedy building owners.
It said between the 2nd and 3rd floor.
DeleteSo, let me see if I have this straight. A large group of teens pack themselves into an elevator and somehow one gets outside the car and is crushed and it is the fault of the elevator. More likely that the overload condition of the car caused it to slip and the car, with its door open, fell pinning the teen still in the doorway.

And it didn't make the Atlanta news.
ReplyDeleteJaumarcus. Football player. Athlete.
ReplyDeleteMan, that's way too many hints for a "Guess the Race" challenge.
Overloading the elevator by 1.000 pounds and then complain if the thing fails.
Typical primate behavior.
dindu nufin rong he was going to college racially tinged civil lawsuit in 3..2..
ReplyDeleteModern technology is too much for the africans.
ReplyDeleteAnd...ghetto lottery in 3...2....1
ReplyDeleteI don't get it either. Sounds like he was outside the elevator.
ReplyDeleteHad a cargo elevator do that. It took days release the safety brakes and thing didn’t budge again for the 7 months. All to one mans idiocy in bypassing all the limit switches.
ReplyDelete19 years old huh. What was he, a Freshman, Sophomore maybe?
ReplyDeleteGuess he will not be going to college.
ReplyDeleteWell, if yer stupid enough to play pack the elevator, might as well play fer blood, eh? Ohio Guy
