NO!!! NOT THAT!!!

A shortage of certain alcohol brands is leaving some drinkers in low spirits; the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) announced this week it would begin rationing a list of popular liquor labels.

Due to sustained supply chain disruptions and product shortages, purchase limits of two bottles, per customer, per day were applied to certain items beginning Friday, Sept. 17, and will remain in effect for the foreseeable future.

  1. While picking up a bottle of Jamison a month ago I had noticed the price increase for all the brands of liquor, even the
"cheap" brands. Looking like it's time to invest in copper.

  2. That's what happens when you have a state controlled monopoly. Private business would have found solutions to the problem!

  3. Proof government controlled, incompetent, corrupt bureaucracy eventually causes the system to break down. This is a great example of why Americans should oppose government run National Health Care.

  6. At on time the State of PA was the largest customer of every major spirits and winery in the US.
They also paid the highest prices.
    That's government at work!

  7. If .gov controls/regulates it, there are going to be shortages.
If they run it, it's going to be an incompetent clusterfuck of epic proportions.
Reason #1 they shouldn't be running Health care.
    Or anything else important.

That one comes with a caveat - "Unless it's mass murder." They are very, very good at that.
