This comes under the "What is YOUR excuse?" heading. Lesser men would stay home, feeling sorry for themselves, and collecting disability until they die.
Good job carrying on! And so many capable folks out there who work harder at not working instead of working with what you have like this fellow. Wonder how many beers he wins at arm wrestling at the bar after work?
You cannot stop a man that wants to work and make his own way. He has more pride and dignity in is little finger than all of those radical groups put together. Kick ass brother.
Where does he work? I do my own wheel and brake work, but if he is <2 hour away, I think I'll send him all my business from here on out. It's a paradox, there is more of a man there then in most I know. Bless you, man! -Just A Chemist
I try to start every day with a great, big, heapin' bowl of GET OVER YOURSELF to remind me that no matter how bad I think my problems are, someone else has far more to deal with than I ever will. And for a far better reason.
I salute this man and hope that someday I will be half the survivor that he is.
May God bless that man all the days of his life and wealth beyond his dreams because I know he would do good with it. If he does lose his job I hope he starts his own business right next door because he will get all the business. When I see these kind of things it reminds me how small I am and to quit bitching.
I'm disabled; slight birth defect with my legs made worse by doctors using experimental surgeries (remember guys, TRUST THE SCIENCE)... My life sucks pretty hard, I'm in pain all damn day, every damn day, but I'm damn thankful I am not this dude. I can't imagine breaking my back that hard while bouncing on my own nuts all day!
Hardcore man. Bless him!

ReplyDeleteSemper Fi, Good man. Too bad fired because he didn't get vaccinated. He only got part time pay anyhow.

And yet there is generational welfare with able bodied people.

But yet a darky can lose a toe due to diabetes and get 100% disability and set for life of laziness! SMH

I have a broad sense of humor but the half jokes don't fly on this occasion. He is twice the man most of you will ever be.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Ned. Mind the karma folks. Really, it's in your best interest. Ohio Guy

ReplyDeletePretty damned impressive. You just gotta believe that this guy has a great attitude.
ReplyDeleteAnd on his way home he drives past a bum begging for money on every corner.
