I've dealt with Coccidiosis in cattle and it too was a pretty easy although not inexpensive fix. It's a powder called Corrid and the interesting thing about it is that you're only supposed to add it to water in a non-metallic stock tank. Apparently the powder reacts to metal in a bad way. The best way to spot a bovine with Coccidiosis is to look for a dirty butt, with the tail smearing the diarrhea like a windshield wiper blade.
