Defunding Disaster: Austin Police No Longer to Responding to ‘Non-Life Threatening’ 911 Calls
The Austin Police Department is warning it won’t be responding to non-life threatening 911 calls.
Starting Friday, Austin’s sworn police officers will no longer be responding in person to non-emergency calls because of severe staffing shortages, APD announced.
My lawn tractor was stolen from my property in the county and when I called it in, (I didn't call 911, called their regular number.), The sheriff's deputy on call for that part of the county took all the information over the phone.
Yes and Dallas not far behind outside the city limits a whole different story. Dominion has done a good job in Texas. My Son lives in Austin, love seeing him hate visiting inside those city limits and the highways down. Fucking Beto stickers everywhere, mostly amish drivers though.
a backhoe with an eight foot reach down and some nice remote land is always good to have in hand or at least available from an acquaintance. that this kind of thing is happening in Texas, for GODS SAKE!
