Hey, I like to fish too, but damn...

BARRON COUNTY, Wis. — While temperatures have dropped in Wisconsin and Minnesota, ice has not sufficiently hardened in area lakes. A person driving a truck with an apparent ice fishing house behind it jumped the gun and sank into an icy lake.

  1. This man was trying to cash in this winter's 'unrealized gains'.

  2. The incident occurred Friday night, the department wrote, adding that alcohol was a factor.

    1. It hasn't been cold enough for the lakes to be iced in yet. It's not even safe enough to walk on. Temperature right now in Boulder Junction is 42 degrees. Boulder Junction is about ten minutes south of the upper Peninsula and the Michigan line.

Wait. Was this guy wearing some sort of white robe and have this glowing circle over his head?

Otherwise, it's a fair guess that alcohol may have been involved.

And to add insult to injury, the state epa will usually fine them for a fuel/oil leak.

  5. Hate this time of year... too cold to do anything, not cold enough to do anything.
