Fuck California, especially the government and the supporters thereof, but the California Condor is an awesome, though ugly, bird. They're entirely harmless, enormous, and they're actually affectionate with people. Ugly bastards, but that's not their fault. It's not lead ammo killing them, though. That's for damn certain.
Funny, here in West Virginia we still use lead ammo and don't have any problem with scavengers dying.
