Now there's something you don't hear about every day

A Grand Prairie woman is suing the Dallas World Aquarium for more than $1 million after she says her child was attacked by a Giant Otter during a visit last spring.

  1. These are wild animals, not cuddly pet-like creatures and as such, humans need to give them space.

  2. We need to build bigger walls to keep dangerous critters out.

  6. I was attacked by a giant beaver once.
Every year there's reports of Otters attacking swimmers in Lake Shasta.

  8. Gotter say, giant river otters are actually incredibly fucking dangerous. They kill crocodiles. Regularly. Look at "casual geographic" channel on YouTube, he's got a bunch of funny vids in animals that no one thinks of as dangerous, but that are actually freaking brutal.

  9. Otters are just aquatic murder-weasels. Cute, but pretty vicious bastards.

  10. The husband held the baby up over the edge of the fucking 5 1/2' barrier. Dumbass. When my wife and I visited there years ago, it was feeding time for the crocodiles. They were throwing whole chickens down to them and they were lunging out of the water to catch them. On the walkway overhead, this idiot father was holding his toddler over the railing so he could get a clear view. The kid was scared to death and the guy was fucking oblivious. We thought we were about to witness a tragedy. The kid wouldn't have even hit the water before at least one set of jaws snapped on him.
