Republicans Demand Release of Marine Lt. Col. Jailed for Criticizing Afghanistan Withdrawal
Republican lawmakers in both houses of Congress are demanding that the United States Marine Corps release a Lieutenant Colonel who was jailed earlier this week for criticizing military leadership after the failed Afghanistan withdrawal, Breitbart reports.

Thats all the republitards will do is protest and make demands. Nothing will happen because the politifucks of both republitard and the democommie parties, neither one of them have the spine of moral guidance to do what 's right. None of them are accountable for anything the say or do. Flush the lot of em. Vote for the local dog catcher.

The guy now says he doesn't want any help from Trump or conservatives, the very ones who donated his 2 million. I say let him sit if he thinks he is so damn important. He can work his own way out of the jam he created.

ReplyDeleteI know this won't be popular, but my understanding is that when you join the military, you effective surrender a whole lot of your civil rights (cause you aren't a civilian any more). I've never been in the military, but I have heard that one basic rule is that you (as an officer) never criticize the military in public. You don't air out dirty laundry. You don't call out your superior officer, and you never deviate from chain of command.
ReplyDeleteNow that doesn't mean he wasn't right in what he said, absolutely he was right. It also doesn't mean that liberal "heroes" get a pass on all the shit they say. They do, and no one ever seems to call them on it. But our boy here probably knew the shit-show he started, and this is part of it.
The republicans can bitch and moan all they want, ain't gonna change anything until they actually start doing stuff like charging Milley with treason. And impeaching Biden. But that won't happen and we all know it.

DeleteCol. Vendamen (sp?) absolutely committed military crimes, first breaking the chain of command, second lying about his superior officer under oath, and third, conduct unbecoming. Yet that clown, who disparaged the Commander and Chief, was promoted to a better assignment - not put in the brig. Again if not for double standards, Lefties wouldn’t have any standards at all.

"Republicans demand" uh....subject and verb do not go together. The idea of Republicans "demanding" anything is pretty funny, though; at their most indignant, the most they could ever summon up is "meekly imply".
