Some cities install defibrillation machines, Chicago goes for GSW trauma kits
Chicago has begun installing “Bleeding Control Kits” across the city under the new Safe Chicago program amid an increase in gun violence.
The city will install 426 Bleeding Control Kits in 269 Chicago buildings, including City Hall and Chicago Public Library locations. Each kit can treat up to eight victims.
For Chicago, I'd recommend Tampons on the streets within reach of the bangers. There was a movie scene, I think either in "Scarface," or "King of New York," where an attache case of Tampons was exchanged for a pile of cocaine. The recipient asked WTF they were for, and the other gangster said they were for all the bullet holes. That's when the shooting started.
Any takers on a bet of how long those GSW kits are going to last once installed? I'm thinking they'll be ripped off of the walls withing an hour or two tops and sold on the "black" market.

ReplyDeleteSome schools are mandating Covid vaccine shot for students. Chicago is mandating level-4 body armor.
