Southwest Airlines Cancels Dozens of Nashville Flights, Cites Air Traffic Control and Weather Issues

Southwest Airlines canceled dozens of flights out of Nashville over the weekend, joining a trend nationwide that forced the company to cancel hundreds of flights.

After leaving hundreds of passengers stranded, the airline blamed air traffic control and weather issues for the string of cancellations.

Now for the rest of the story:

People inside Southwest Airlines are speaking out carefully and pointing out why there are so many flight disruptions.   Essentially, the background issues are what were discussed earlier.  Pilots are pushing back against vaccine mandates; and if you think about the curriculum vitae of a typical pilot, it makes sense.

A big percentage of commercial airline pilots are former military pilots.  That group of people carry a strong disposition toward the principles of patriotism, service, liberty and freedom.

It is a simple truism that upsets leftists, but it makes sense for this specifically skilled workforce group to be the tip of the push back spear.

  2. This ain't difficult - if it was ATC and weather, then EVERY AIRLINE would have had huge cancellations like SW.

    They didn't.

    The End of that lie.

  3. But, but, but the jab is perfectly safe and effective, while upwards of 16000 people have died and a bunch more have been permanently disabled and those are just what .gov is willing to tell us about.

Then there's this interesting note at the bottom: *Note that the total number of deaths associated with the COVID-19 vaccines is greater than the number of deaths associated with all other vaccines combined since the year 1990."

...not to mention, wouldn't you just love to be up at 35K ft and have your pilot develop a blood clot, heart attack or stroke?

  4. Why do so many rely on others to save them when the 1st response above - John Galt - is what is needed by more. Too many want to party their lives out and hope it will keep going on, than care about it much.

The left actively disrupts. Those Trump caravans should be revived to start causing freeway slowdowns in major cities and impeding deliveries into them. General strike. Simply reducing the flow of $'s through the system will monkey wrench.

  6. So why oh why would Southwest claim weather and FAA? Perhaps so they won't have to be responsible for covering the cost of the stranded passengers? Naw, they are the good guys, they would not do that.......

  7. Read somewhere, that if SWA cops a weather excuse, they're off the hook for putting people up in hotels until, etc.

    Tell a BIG lie, etc.
