I've seen them come into folks' back yards for breakfast or an evening meal but not in the garage! Country life is wonderful if you take the time to be one with the inhabitants in it. Ohio Guy
I wish I could get my resident deer to be this tame but they aren't fenced in. So far, only around three have not minded me being within 15' of them and the others get skittish if I'm closer than about 20-40'. I wonder if there are any tricks to making them farm pets aside from keeping hot Ramen around.
My shop installed cameras EVERYWHERE, and one recorded me driving into an aisle with my lift truck, picking up a load, then before I backed out, a deer ran behind me, and into the shop floor. Other cameras filmed it running around the shop, until it found the loading dock, where it jumped out the door, which had no trailer there as it was at night, with no trucks loading or unloading. The deer ran off into the woods, which was right on the edge of Lake Michigan. The only one who ever saw it in the shop was the security guard, who had the deer run right in front of him, on it's way out of the shop. This was in the middle of summer, it was a medium sized deer for our part of Michigan, maybe 110 pounds.
Pet deer at a high fence game farm, some big city coca cola cowboy will pay big bucks to kill him and hang him on his bullshit bragger wall.
ReplyDeleteWow, someone is judgy... Doesn't look like a "high fence game farm" to me...
