  5. You should share the link to the outfit that designed and built that marvelous piece of wizardry. My gut says it is an American company. Totally customer oriented.

  6. Met a fella in the Council Bluffs Bass Pro parking lot with that exact same rig 2 years ago. He was having a hell of a time getting into the truck due to one of the limit switches on the platform being out of adjustment and unable to lift and rotate as a result. I spent an hour in the rain and snow trying to get that damned thing to lift this guy into his truck using a leatherman. He had only taken delivery of it a month earlier.

  10. There should probably be a label on the exterior like 'RESCUE HERE' pointing to the latch mechanism so emergency personnel know how to enter the vehicle. That's a lot of hardware with squat switches (microswitches), hydraulics, and such.

  14. The company is AT Conversions. https://www.atconversions.com/

One local here has one, and I asked about the seatbelt issue. His 'chair' has a seatbelt, and the chair itself locks into the platform.

  15. Have a friend who recently got one in a van style. His ALS is not going to slow him down for a while. He and his wife rode their Dual Sport bikes all the way the the Tierra Del Fuego about 6 years ago. From Oregon, via Canada. Go figure?
