Actually, I think the article would be more accurate if it said nearly half of the people got caught committing more crimes.
There's no telling how many committed crimes and didn't get caught.

In brief. There was a study years ago. The three body types, ectomorphic, mesomorphic and endomorphic. Endomorphic being the big dumb kind a guy. They found more endomorphic in prison therefore endomorphic committed more crimes. Shortly after the results were published another group came forward and said, not so. Endomorphic are just dumb and get caught more often.

They're not all turd blossoms. This dude was a decent excavator operator, and was glad he could see his grandkids.
