I have to say, I have used a 12 ga. shotgun with slugs or OO buckshot for white tail deer, for most of my life, and it has never let me down. This picture here shows why. I also took one with my Dad's 30/40 Krag. Oh, I also got 2 with Fords, and 2 with GM's.
I read a ballistics review of the manufacturer's rounds used in creation of the jewelry cited at the link. The review claimed that those rounds significantly under performed in ballistics gel, especially when compared to older more established construction methods by other manufacturers. I appears the review may have been wrong.
The 3 pistol rounds in the center are Federal HSTs. They perform VERY well in the FBI gel tests and on the street. Glad I stocked them deep when they were affordable.
