Australian Army Begins Transferring COVID-Positive Cases, Contacts To Quarantine Camps
The Australian army has begun forcibly removing residents in the Northern Territories to the Howard Springs quarantine camp located in Darwin, after nine new Covid-19 cases were identified in the community of Binjari. The move comes after hard lockdowns were instituted in the communities of both Binjari and nearby Rockhole on Saturday night.

ReplyDeleteI lived and worked in Alice Springs for 2.5 years. The Aussies are like Texans without guns and with heavy taxation. It is surprising they have not started Austrian-like riots. Although, summer is starting downunder and it will be over 100 degrees F in the Northern Territory.

Elections in Australia are compulsory - you have to vote, and they keep track - it's an offense if you don't. So the next election ought to be pretty interesting. Or maybe not - remember, it was a penal colony for British criminals to begin with - so the living population are the descendants of criminals - and prison guards.
