Catch of the Day

A New Jersey man set a new record after catching a salmon in a landlocked lake. While the fish was actually caught in September, the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife recently confirmed the record.

An 8 pound 10 ounce salmon broke the record? Hell, I've caught Big Ass Trout bigger than that.

New Melones up near Angels Camp should be turning sometime in the next month and those BATs will be hitting the shallows.

I do miss that.
