Commentary: The Salvation Army Hides Woke Policies During Christmas Fundraising

Rather than admit their woke policies are not supported by donors or staff, the leadership of The Salvation Army hides these policies from the public. Salvation Army captains tell me, however, that mandatory “diversity” training and calls to repent for racism are still very much integral to TSA internal policies.

I am president of Color Us United, an organization created to stand up for the individual dignity of ordinary Americans against abusive woke policies. Several months ago Color Us United learned that the Salvation Army had gone woke by imposing a curriculum that asks members to “repent for racism.“ We have called them out publicly on this and even met with their National Commander. Instead of addressing the policies that the majority of their members and donors do not support, however, the Salvation Army has hidden its woke materials.

  1. If what the SA is doing is 'hiding', gawd help 'em. This report is all over the place- you'd have to be blind (or democrat) to miss it. And it is obviously hitting where it hurts: the SA is trying the usual non-apology, non-backtrack reframing and BS. Also not working. It's like United (our way or the high) Way: cut 'em off, donate locally to known local charities.

  2. I used to contribute to them every year at the kettles outside my grocery store. Not a lot, but every bit counts.

They can go suck an egg.

How is it that these idiots in control of these organizations don't understand that when you pander to <10% of the population, you're gonna piss the rest of the population off and probably cut significantly into your donation base, especially seeing as the 20% are mostly BROKE and don't donate?

Idjits are them. Screw'em. I hope they starve.

My former SA money now will go to the local food pantry, in addition to what I already give them.

Well, if that 90% that gets pissed off isn't going to be there in a few years, there's no real harm, is there?

  3. Wow, I'm shocked.... NOT
Most all these huge charities are scams, salvation army, peta, the united way, catholic charities, the humane society and on and on.
If a charity has a president/ceo/coo or whatever they want to call it making 100k or more a year, gives less than 10% of the donations to the cause or plays political games it is a SCAM.
If you are inclined to give do it locally, volunteer your time or take food/supplies directly to those that need it.

I immediately thought of this....I'm not saying it should happen, I'm just saying I understand.

  5. "Color Us United - Advocating for a Race-Blind America"

Another "Why, OF COURSE the Bolsheviks are RIGHT! The only thing wrong with Bolshevism is not having been run by the right people. People like us!" boomer money pit.

I hope they hang blue kettles everywhere. So I can drop my money in those. Instead of the red kettles. Just like the Republicans, Because They're Not The Democrats, Party.

  6. I used to mail them a check every month or two. A couple of big checks around this time of year. No more. Last two begging letters got send back with a note saying: "You hate White people, so no donations for you."
