‘No reaction’: Gov. Newsom addresses rumors about COVID-19 booster shot

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday dismissed rumors about his health as vaccine misinformation in his first extended comments to reporters since announcing that he was skipping a United Nations climate summit nearly two weeks ago. 

The governor, speaking during a visit to a COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Los Angeles, was asked to comment on an article that claimed via an anonymous source that he had a bad reaction to a COVID-19 booster and flu shot within days of each other and that’s why he bailed on the event.
