Tennessee Legislature Passes Sweeping COVID Rules Bill Overnight
After hours of deliberation and the formation of a legislative conference committee, the Tennessee Legislature passed a 21-page omnibus COVID-19 bill early Saturday morning to close its special session.
Remember, 2 weeks, that was over a year and a half ago. It's way past time we shut down the covid nazis, if they want to get a jab, wear a face diaper or stay 6 feet away from each other then they are free to do so, as for me: I choose life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Fuck off if you don't. JD
Wirecutter, Tennessee is looking better and better every day. Here in Michigan, our Senate and House are both totally Republican, while the rest of our government is totally Democrat. It makes for a strange government, but there are a couple of things that work in the peoples favor. First, if the people get enough signatures on a petition, there can be a ballot initiative and the people can make new laws without the government, which we did, and got term limits passed. And we can also get enough signatures to allow the House and Senate to pass laws without the Governor's signature, which is how we got rid of the Empress of Lansing's ability to use the executive power to shut down the state. I have a friend, who lives in TN, so I looked up his city just to see how close to your town he lived. HA, he is in Savanah, TN, which you know is about as far away as you could get. Here in Michigan, I had a friend whose MIL lived so far away that he could drive there, but it took 13 hours, if they didn't stop except for gas. And we live in the middle of the lower peninsula. She lived in the far west of the upper peninsula. But the drive in the upper peninsula is beautiful, along the lake.
We did this months ago in Montana as soon as the old Democ^Hrat governor was shown the door. No masks, health agencies cannot force private business to be their proxy enforcers and discrimination based on "vaccine" status is prohibited as a violation of privacy and civil rights. We are doing just fine and living as normal people ... just like it should be.
damn, well i'm hoping our new gov youngkin will fix our state too. i was moving to tenn if terri mac had won. real estate has skyrocketed there now though. and all us outlanders moving in will change things, not always for the best.
