Thank you

 Many thanks to all of you that served, but especially to the combat Vets.

The horrors you lived through are not forgotten nor unappreciated. God bless you.

  5. I concur! I'm of the age that was automatically sent to serve, but was spared the horror of war. If it wasn't for those that did fight, I might be dead or worse....so Thank You fellow servicemen!

  9. YAQW. It was an honor. No combat (pissed of Haitians firing on you doesn't count IMO) but I got a couple decades of "sea stories" from the USCG. Many though, are not of the type to tell in polite company.....:)

  11. Served in Viet Nam. Volunteered for the infantry and thought I made a grave mistake. when I got home I couldn't stop shaking for more than a week. Happy Veterans Day to all that served.
