California will require universal masking indoors starting Wednesday through Jan. 15 to combat an increase in COVID-19 cases, the state's top health official said, even as he acknowledged that at this stage of the pandemic "enforcement will be stronger in some places than others."

What these medical illiterates don't understand is the "waning" that is seen is the normal, seasonal troughs and peaks that occur in an endemic virus (which is what Covid is now officially classified). Has nothing to do with their masking ridiculousness and everything to do with normal fluctuations in "flu bugs". But hey, it's California, land of the liberal fruits, why let a good crisis go to waste no?

NorCal counties will ignore it. Again. Including Sacramento County where our Capital is located. But these assholes could care less about results. It's ALL about control. And getting the population accustomed to being controlled.
