Bye bye, Buddy

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A 79-year-old death row inmate in Oklahoma is set to be executed on Thursday.

Bigler “Bud” Jobe Stouffer II, 79, was convicted of shooting Doug Ivens and fatally shooting Ivens’ girlfriend, Linda Reaves, in July of 1985.

  1. Justice delayed is justice denied. 36 years we supported this killer in prison. 1/2 his worthless life. He should have been dangling from a rope, in public display, within 30 days after the event.

    1. At the very least he should have been removed within 24 hours of his last appeal trial. Wonder when that was. Maybe I'm being overly generous.

    3. Exactly. We housed and fed this sonofabitch for over 30 years when he should've been taken out back and shot.

  2. My thoughts: If there is NO DOUBT that the perp did the deed, then the death penalty is correct. If there is some doubt, then the slow process of justice can proceed.

    1. ^^THIS^^
What’s the latest count on death row inmates freed because it was proved with DNA they had absolutely nothing to do with the crime they were convicted of? It was around 150 a few years ago.

If there is a defendant that is like the kiddie raper that said in court, “Yeah I did it and if you turn me loose, I’ll do it again” I’ll volunteer to shoot his ass in the next 5 minutes. Anyone else who doesn’t admit it goes through the process.

  3. I think it's another way to get money from us. Have you SEEN what it costs to have someone on death row?

    1. Yes, you know it. We live in a kritocracy ruled by the legal guild. We the people pay for a perp's lawyers, the govt. lawyers, and the courtroom. And big settlements for Govt. misdeeds are payed by we the people too, there's no consequence for any tax eating govt. employee so why should they care. We're just the chumps with a wallet to raid.

It's a country of the lawyers, by the lawyers, and for the lawyers now. It'll likely require a round of lawlessness to correct.

  5. That is my recommendation for most of that type of crime! Why should we support that scum for 1/3 to 1/2 of his lifetime?
My only other recommendation would be for rape, the guilty should first loose the whole package and then be hanged publicly soon.

    1. I'm with you, GE..we need to change these laws giving death row inmates what works out to life with all the appeals available. It's not fair to taxpayers to grant endless delays. If the criminal is found guilty, carry out the sentence w/o delay!

  7. Most trial don't start for 2-3 years after the event, so. If they can't win an appeal for retrial within a year after the original trial then hang them high and long. Dangle them so the crows eat their eyeballs.
