Want to know perhaps the worst part about it? None of it is real. The climate change racket isn't about helping the planet, it is about helping the oligarchs - the billionaires who mean to own/run the entire world. Not that an climatological crisis would justify violence anyway, but these "true believer" so-called eco-warriors are dupes of the highest order.
Perhaps the simplest way to confirm that this whole thing is a racket, a big-time money-making scam - is the behavior of those self-same elites themselves. Did you see the big confab in Scotland? You never saw so many huge limos, giant gas-guzzling SUVs and high-end private jets in one place in your life! If this is such a grave crisis, why aren't they acting like it? The answer is that they don't care a fig about the climate or the environment; just about money and power.
How is the climate-change racket about money and power? Simple. As soon as they whip enough of the dupes and proles into a fearful state, they can then institute global controls on the use of fossil fuels. They - and they alone - will control the issuance of carbon credits, permission slips to burn fossil fuels or other sources of green-house gases. On a global basis, they reap a gigantic windfall .... which is precisely the point. And since these guys will be the only game in town, they'll be immensely powerful, too.
In other words, the Al Gores and Prince Charles of the world will keep right on eating filet mignon and flying in their private jets and riding in their gas-guzzling limos and SUVs, while Joe/Jane Sixpack have to cram themselves into a tiny electric car the size of a golf cart and eat reconstituted insect protein for dinner.
It usually helps to whip up the bloodlust in your footsoldiers in order to get them comfortable with genocide.
