MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) — Memphis has been ranked as the most dangerous city in the United States, according to a 24/7 Wall St. study using FBI statistics.
wow, per the report limited data from Illinois, Pennsylvania and Maryland? So Chicago, Philly and Baltimore all with ridiculously high murder rates is excluded from the list.....Baltimore murder rate per cap is worse than many 3rd world countries. FAKE NEWS
Well hell, they done stole the title from my fair home town of St. Louis. What is the world coming to? Does STL still have the #1 ranking for incidence rate of gonorrhea? We need to hold the top spot in something, dammit! I'm sure we're still national champs at self loathing, anyway.
It pisses me off when the poverty rate is included, as if "poor = criminal."
And when a couple of Shelby County firemen were changing the shredded tire on my pickup, one of them saw my pistol and two mags laying on the seat, and commented "This guy knows were he's at!" I replied "That's just for around here; when I go to Memphis, I carry TWO." (I live "out in the county")
This might be a contributing factor. Notice nothing is mentioned about actual improvement; just that the schools had reached the end of their Time-Out Time:
Hey Kenny, Memphis is in Tennessee.... ROADTRIP????????????
ReplyDeleteNo it isn't. It's East Arkansas. At least that's what we native Tennesseans have been saying for decades.

DeleteDo you think Bernie Madoff or Jeffrey Epstein would have been criminals if they hadn't been poor?
How many more days before The Usual Suspects start howling for "moar gun control"?
