Physician Visiting Tennessee Urges a Convention of the States to Curb Federal Government’s COVID-19 Authority

GALLATIN, Tennessee — An Indiana physician who addressed hundreds of people about COVID-19 as he visited Gallatin this weekend said people concerned about the federal government’s overly-broad powers must call for a Convention of the States.

That man, Daniel Stock, and several other speakers discussed and analyzed their findings regarding proper COVID-19 treatment and care. They said these are findings that federal agencies either don’t report or don’t acknowledge.

  1. That's a tricky debate. It could break both ways. Win some rights over here, lose some rights over there.

  2. Conservatives always think that a convention of states will reign the feds in. It won't. If the left is going to ignore the constitution as is, why would they suddenly pay attention to whatever comes out of the convention?

You also run the risk of losing the bill or rights and everything else that we love about the existing constitution. The issue is not the constitution, it's the feds ignoring it.

    1. Agree. Patrick Henry refused to attend tbe Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia because he "smelt a rat". He argued vehemently against Virginia's ratification of the new Constitution because it went too far and contained no Bill of Rights.

Henry and George Mason so thoroughly bludgeoned Madison at the Virginia Ratification convention that it seemed Virginia might not ratify. Madison relented and agreed to craft and add a Bill of Rights which was ratified a few years later.

Virginia sits astride the 13 states and had she not ratified tbe United States would have been an impossibility. Henry had Madison by the balls and he knew it.

And so, gentlemen, the only reason you have a Second Amendment is in large part owed to Patdick Henry.

I mean, yeah, I'm glad he stuck to his principles and all, but uh....I'm not doing that for him.

  3. IF (and that is a mighty big one) we could be assured that such a convention would be totally honest and aboveboard it 'might' be a good idea but even then only maybe.
Given the current state of affairs in government it would likely be controlled and totally subverted by nefarious element that would use it as a mechanism to totally destroy what is left of our Constitutional Republic. At this time, NO.

    1. The queen of England and the Rothschilds took our Constitution away in 1873 and put us under the Admiralty Act / Maritime Law where we have been since. Until sometime just before Biden was sworn in. The military took full control of America and still runs everything. What the fedgov does with "Biden" and crew is all an act.

  5. As a foreigner my knowledge is likely faulty; is it 2/3 of states required to change the Constitution? (The one that is being ignored)

Over here in Teutonistan our "basic law" has been corona'd out the window. Certain folks are aiming to emulate and exceed their grandparent's "achievements".

Pray for us, and yourselves, and sell your cloak to buy a sword or a gun. Devilry is afoot.

  8. Only a fool would seed a Convention....because such an opportunity would most definitely provide the commie left the chance they want to nullify vast portions of the Constitution and our Rights. There is NOTHING wrong with the Constitution or the Bill Of Rights.....we just need to sack up, saddle up and start shooting all the commies willfully violating it. Shoot enough of them and the problems will be solved. Changing the words on paper has zero effect on them. They only respect and obey physical threats to themselves.
