I think what he spilled is fake as it looks more transparent than what was sitting on the table. And, if it was real gold he dissolved it can be recovered by knowing a bit of chemistry \Daryl
Nile Red channel on YouTube. He’s actually very entertaining and way over my head with Chemistry. Pretty sure he dropped colored water as there were no acid fumes when it hit the concrete.
Duh. Aqua regia dissolves gold. Who knew? Whether he actually dropped the real solution, who knows...but it'd be hell on the floor, and anything that got splattered. Doubt it.
So when you melt gold that has been assayed, and is marked, then you recover it, just how much money do you lose when you actually have to get it certified again, and how much do you lose during the recovery process, because I am pretty sure that you cannot get every gram back. There has to be some residual loss due to the inefficiency of the chemical process.
Nile Red on youtube. Makes some very interesting videos on chemistry and chemical processes. Hadn't seen this one before, but, it's definitely a joke video...
