Thief breaks into bar, takes off with register containing 'grand total of nothing'
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Sylvan Park business is taking to social media to send a message to the thief who broke in to their bar early Friday morning.
Neighbors of Sylvan Park posted photos of the “Worthless, Gutless” suspect who snatched the cash register off the bar at around 3:28 a.m. Little did the thief know, the register was empty.
My grandmother had a dry goods store when I was a wee lad, and she used to leave the till ajar at night(no money). I asked why, and she said the till was worth more money than the cash in the drawer, and thieves would destroy it for nothing if there was a break-in.
Criminals aren't known for being the sharpest knives in the drawer.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's why they are supported by democrats. Democrats so dull they were taken out of the drawer and thrown in the trash.

DeleteThe good ones are.
It'll make a nice coffee table conversation starter....
ReplyDeleteLong, long ago when I worked a register, we were instructed to leave the drawer open at closing time.
ReplyDeleteThis is why you always leave the cash drawer open at night with just coins in it.
