34 percent of Americans say violence against government justified
A third of Americans say violence against the government is sometimes “justified,” a shocking new poll revealed on Saturday.
The percentage of people with that view compared to previous years increased significantly, according to the poll published by The Washington Post-University of Maryland survey.
Shocking my ass, personally I think the numbers are much higher than what is given in the article. Criminal politicians should be removed, by whatever means necessary, from office JD
The percentage seeing situation-specific violence against the US government and / or those who control it as being justified is probably far larger. I know that if asked such questions, that I would either not answer or give a neutral answer. John in Indy
If Jan 6 Taught us anything it is that half measures are a guaranteed fail. some day somebody is going to kick it off, you had better know which side you are on.
It's sad that elected officials are such fools that they believe the miniscule number of times rifles have been used to commit crimes justifies violation of the Constitution, while the huge number of times congress people have lied and violated various laws doesn't even warrant a public flogging.
The Second Amendment IS absolute. It specifically says "shall NOT be infringed". Remember, up until a "law" was passed restricting purchase and ownership of full-auto machine guns, there was no, repeat no restriction on firearms. Well, except for those promulgated by criminals masquerading as police, such as the infamous Wyatt Earp. Laws which purport to "control" guns are a violation; laws cannot amend the Constitution. The Constitution has NOT been so amended. Lawmakers, courts, and cops are required to know the law, that "laws" do not and cannot amend, nor change, nor restrict Rights. Any court which says otherwise is nothing more than criminals claiming they are not guilty. Therefore any attempts by them to enforce "gun control" are criminal acts and should be treated as such.
You want to reduce/eliminate crime? You want to live without fear? Then control criminals, not law-abiding gun owners. Make the criminals accountable, and stop persecuting law-abiding people who exercise the Right of self-defense. (Although I can see that that may be a problem, since congress and other government bureaucrats are the ones committing most of the crimes, the ones generating fear. It's understandable that they don't want the ethos of personal responsibility to be common practice. Self-defense, if deemed necessary, would require that they be eliminated first.)
34% were the only ones willing to admit it on a poll. On a contentious issue like thia we should figure honest answers around 1/3 or 0.33%. The rest believe that just did not want to say it. That puts us at 100% + or - 10%
I wonder how much of the shit that pelosi and schumer pull would be eliminated if they were truly looking over their shoulder for reprisal....just a thought....

ReplyDeleteThat should be 100%. If you don't agree with that move back to good old King George.
More than justified. Richly deserved. Sorry to say.
ReplyDeleteunless it's the right doing the violence.

ReplyDeleteCalling January 6 a half measure is giving it waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much credit.
DeleteBing fucking o...
DeleteAmerica was born in the cradle of "violence against government". Violence to restore it is and would always should be an acceptable form of recourse.

ReplyDeleteWhat a coincidence! 100% of government employees believe that violence against the populace is both necessary and incipient!
ReplyDelete- The Government
34% is far larger than the 3% that has been cited as the number of patriots that fought the Revolution and won.
ReplyDeleteYou can vote your way into tyranny, but you have to shoot your way out.
