Businesses react to Supreme Court ruling against Biden vaccine mandate

For companies that were waiting to hear from the U.S. Supreme Court before deciding whether to require vaccinations or regular coronavirus testing for workers, the next move is up to them.

Many large corporations were silent on Thursday's ruling by the high court to block a requirement that workers at businesses with at least 100 employees be fully vaccinated or else test regularly for COVID-19 and wear a mask on the job.

  1. My company issued a vaccine policy pretty much word for word from the OSHA mandate on Monday. Today they rescinded it. They are still heavy on the pro-vaxx propaganda, but will mumble something like personal choice if any of us object. We're only about 75% vaxxed at my site (I'm part of the 25% hold-outs), which means we'd be shutdown if they fired us or we just decided to walk out. So there's that.

    1. We were told yesterday no vaccine and no testing. But when our county lifts the mask mandate than only the vaxed can work without wearing one.

  2. They upheld the mandate for companies that get federal funding from Medicare/Medicaid. I’m an aircraft mechanic for a medevac company. Guess I’m looking for a new job.

  3. Many large corporations were silent on Thursday's ruling No shit. That's because right now, a lot of CEOs and Boards of Directors of large corporations that have already forced people to get poisoned because "the government ordered it" are now soiling their Depends. They have suddenly realized that their "we had to" excuse is gone, and that means that they are now fully liable for any injury that results from those jabs. They're fucked and they know it. And it looks good on them. Methink juries are going to be verrrrry harsh on those bastards in the long run.

  4. I'm out of work since last Monday. One of a few that didnt get jabbed. The unions are pushing for the jab because of incentives. Construction in NYC for a company of over 100 that does business's with the state and city is not conducive for a lot of us. Time to make Trax.

  5. Well, since federal courts have recognized the Nuremberg Protocol against involuntary medical experimentation, methinks some companies expect lawsuits. It will be fun to watch them burn, or, preferably, hang.

  6. The issue for companies now is they can't hide behind the immunity of a government mandate.
If they insist on forcing the jab they can and likely will be sued by any employee(s) who
suffer harm from the jab. Expect the majority of companies to back down.
