Experts have previously confirmed that Omicron spreads at a faster, more effective rate compared to earlier virus variants, and respirators like the N95 provide those in public a boost in subsequent filtration abilities if worn correctly.

I wonder if these are the same experts that 'advised' us to wear those paper and cloth masks - you know, the ones that they now are saying don't work?
As I've said before... masks don't stop viral transmission. They can only stop large heavy particulates with short expulsion distances. They're not designed or capable or intended or recommended for viral protection. The manufacturers like 3M tell you this!!
ReplyDeleteNor are they typically intended for re-use. Nor are they typically intended for prolonged use like all day. Nor are they typically intended to be washed or cleaned. There are exceptions (anti microbial/anti viral specially treated) but these are for professional use and cost $$. You could also use SCBA if you want to make a statement.
Remember more than anything that the vast majority of deaths in the 1918 Spanish Flu were due to viral pneumonia from...wearing masks.
Any questions?
Don't you mean "bacterial pneumonia"?
DeleteYou mean those same masks that the esteemed Dr. Fauci told us didn't work in February of 2020?
ReplyDeleteThose masks?
Yes, they are the same people. They're also the same people who originally told us that masks didn't help, but were lying to us.
ReplyDeleteO, FFS. No. And 'KN-95' is a Chinese standard that means absolutely nothing at all....Approved by the Wuhan Virus Lab Gwailo Annex
ReplyDeleteNO, they can not be reused. I wore N-95 type masks in an industrial setting from about '77 on until my retirement in 2005. N-95 type masks are dust masks. Where do these dumb-asses get their information!? Read the side of the box!
ReplyDeleteLet's go Brandon's masks. Whether they work or not is irrelevant. Even the famous Dr. Falsely admitted everyone will eventually get the bug so why impede the progress? Omicron is mild and pervasive so let it ride itself out and spread the immunity. God's vaccination.
ReplyDeleteYes they can be reused. The mask requirement is designed to show compliance not protect from the flu.
ReplyDeleteExperts..
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing the word used. I see some people accused of being an expert, but evidence shows none of them are actually experts.
This is pretty simple deductive reasoning. Ask yourselves this question: If masks work, how is it that, during the height of the original Covid outbreak early in 2020 and during the subsequent outbreak of Covid-D in 2021, WHEN EVERYONE IN THE COUNTRY WAS MASKED IN PUBLIC; with certain states excepted, and locked down in their homes, obsessively washing their hands and obsessively disinfecting surfaces in their homes and vehicles multiple times a day, THE VIRUS CONTINUED TO SPREAD UNABATED?
ReplyDeleteThe holes between the fibers in most masks, i.e. surgical masks, range from 80um to 500um depending on mask construction techniques. The Covid virus measures 0.1um to 0.5 um.
N95 mask information is found here:
https://lms.learning.hhs.gov/content/prod_content/cninv000000000025775/N95_FAQ_2011.pdf
Even with multiple overlapping layers in masks, the virus can and will still pass through the holes between fibers because the holes in most masks, especially surgical masks, are 80 to 500 times the size of the virus. Not to mention that the virus can enter through the sides, top and bottom of the mask because there is NO AIRTIGHT SEAL in ordinary masks nor in N95 masks. An airtight seal is only achieved with GAS MASKS.
I was at my local grocery store last Friday. The local city government re-issued its mask mandate in December 2021. The grocery store prominently posted the mandate on all their front doors at level. It's pretty hard to miss. Yet, I'd say about ten% of the people in the store were unmasked, especially people in the Express line.
I got Covid in late December 2021. Symptoms started Christmas morning. I'm pretty sure that I caught it at that same grocery store, as that's the only public place I was at that week, WHEN I WAS MASKED.

Unlike most common masks, N95s are effective against viruses but hey are single use and must be fitted to work. I was required to pass a fit test every year for the N95 masks and they don't fit everybody, they don't work at all if you have fscial hair.

ReplyDeleteIf masks work (= trapping the deadly whu-flu) they are biohazards and must be collected and destroyed as such.
ReplyDeleteSince there are no protocols for handling the face diapers, it is further proof that they are not effective.
Well, that and the clear statement the manufacturers place on every box saying that their product does not prevent transmission of any virus
