I know for a fact this is not correct. A person very close to me, disabled veteran 40 years old, smokes a lot of dope and got Covid. He recovered, as did I, with no help from the medical community. I think for most people not morbidly obese or with a lot of medical issues, you can beat Covid. Just my 2 cents. Eod1sg Ret
Nicotine also binds to the ACE2 receptor. I heard about that over a year ago. In Georgia, roughly 18% of the population smokes. All things being equal, you'd expect a similar @18% of ChinCOVID cases to be smokers.
As of 1/14/2022, only 5.25% of C19 cases are smokers.
