"LIGHTHIM UP!!! LIGHT HIM UP!!!

The New York state attorney general on Friday released footage of a man bursting into flames after being tased by cops inside an upstate police station in October, an encounter that led to his death.

The disturbing surveillance video shows members of the Catskill Police Department running away, leaving the man as he desperately tries to put out the flames engulfing his upper body and head.

  4. It should come out in the soon-to-be-announced lawsuits that police aren't required to have a degree in chemistry. Nor a license for electrical work. Nor know how to throw a floor mat on a person on fire.

  5. The article reported that he himself extinguished the flames in 10 seconds.

I don't know about all the ninjas out there, but my old fat self would probably take most of ten seconds to deploy a fire extinguisher in my own kitchen.

Likely a fail to tase him, might be culpable even in a "real" criminal justice system, but ....
