So I have a Korean/American/Hawaiian friend that would put Kim Chee in a tortilla wrap but he never said it was a North Korean thing? Randall would add salsa & cheese too!
Arrogant little f'er's, aren't they? We upright bipeds have been sticking a filling in between grain-based coverings and frying/baking/steaming/boiling/etc. them before we had writing to document the recipe. Roll up something in a flour shell, a burrito. Use a corn shell, taco. Wrap cornmeal around and steam it, tamale. Rice flour shell, steam it, fry it, whatever for buns, dumplings. Oh, forgot gnocchi, tortellini, ravioli. And so on.
Hmmm, North Korea. I wonder what's in those wheat wraps???
ReplyDeleteIt occurs to me that the MSM here has taken a page from the North Korean playbook and just fling shit at the wall and hope something sticks.
