As much as the weatherguessers were preaching Doom & Gloom with this storm around here, it pretty much turned out to be a non-event.
We ended up with 3, maybe 4 inches of snow, there's a good half inch of ice on my vehicles and the road I live on is covered in ice making sure I don't go anywhere for at least today and probably tomorrow. But other than being a minor inconvenience, it didn't amount to much here.

  1. We got about 10 inches around here. Even though we get stuff like this all the time it balled things up for a while.

  2. We only got a light dusting here. Colder than a mother-in-law's kiss, and windier than a political speech, but only a trace of precipitation.

  6. Is the winter weather getting harsher on average over in the US? That might be a problem for the global warming narrative. Over here in the UK the winter has been pretty mild so far, the odd light dusting of snow and a few light frosts.
