As much as the weatherguessers were preaching Doom & Gloom with this storm around here, it pretty much turned out to be a non-event.
We ended up with 3, maybe 4 inches of snow, there's a good half inch of ice on my vehicles and the road I live on is covered in ice making sure I don't go anywhere for at least today and probably tomorrow. But other than being a minor inconvenience, it didn't amount to much here.
We got about 10 inches around here. Even though we get stuff like this all the time it balled things up for a while.
ReplyDeleteWe only got a light dusting here. Colder than a mother-in-law's kiss, and windier than a political speech, but only a trace of precipitation.
ReplyDeleteAbout 6" here in the land of Neanderthal.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte got a few small inches so of course we are all going to die
ReplyDeleteNo snow here but the wind we got made the cold front down right nipply.

Is the winter weather getting harsher on average over in the US? That might be a problem for the global warming narrative. Over here in the UK the winter has been pretty mild so far, the odd light dusting of snow and a few light frosts.
ReplyDeleteNo we are getting older

Ahhhhh, Kenny. Now you're starting to sound like an Upstate New Yorker.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good thing (but only in regards to snow).
Weather forecasting has become apocalyptic ever since the global warming scaremongering started.
ReplyDeleteIt hit Maine this morning, maybe 2 inches. You guys are stealing all our snow.

ReplyDeleteI was asked by my NG unit to be available for today if we got any solid accumulation, but it turned out to be about 1.5" here north of Atlanta.
