See what happens when you try to be nice?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One woman was taken into custody Wednesday night for vehicle theft along Brick Church Pike in East Nashville.

According to a warrant, the victim told police, Anika Rogers, 39, was standing on the street with a sign that said she was homeless, and that he wanted to help her out, so he picked her up in his vehicle.

  1. I'll go out on a limb here and say odds are this involved some nookie.

  2. I think more monkeys escaped in Pennsylvania than what was reported and they're headed south. Ohio Guy

The last time I picked up a hitchhiker was about 18 years ago, and the guy turned out to be the son of a former co-worker at GE Radar. Really nice guy, and the hour we spent talking as I drove him was great.
Nowadays, I won't even consider picking up a hitchhiker or stopping for someone homeless, even in pouring rain or severe weather. There are simply too many crazies out there for me to take any chances, sad to say.
