Practice land nav course at Fort Benning I wandered into a swampy area, careful where I stepped. I had to step across a narrow stream and chose a clump of grass on the other side as my first step. Went past my knee in mud. Got out, did a 180 and went back to a road and then to the assembly area. I did not enlist to drown in Georgia mud. I'll take a No Go over Dead. That dude was lucky.
On a positive note, now no one will single out the trousers for being dirty.
