    3. If aliens landed and said "We are deposing all the worlds leaders and taking over." people would be going "Oh Thank God."

  2. #15 That's because Jerry "the smartest owner in football"(according to him) Jones is the dumbest football talent picker EVER. Just look at the last three quarterbacks he's brought on the team. All highly hyped (by him) and all duds, especially the current one.

Brady would never play for that asshole anyway. The last good head coach Jones had, Jimmy Johnson, quit after taking the team to SB28 because Jones never congratulated him on the win, which was the second in a row for Johnson and the Cowboys. The Cowboys haven't done crap since Johnson left, all because of Jones' meddling on a daily basis.

The only thing Jerry Jones is good at is self promotion.

    3. I gotta disagree.
I'd love to be in Daniel Snyder's fantasy league.
      He really sucks at football.

    4. I have been a lifelong resident of Michigan. I have always supported the Lions, sometimes feeling like hiding my face, but still supported them. You have to be surprised at the feeling that has hit the Lions followers this year. With such a horrible record, there is optimism like I have never seen. Mostly because of the coach, Dan Campbell.
He has gotten the players to buy into his philosophy that the Lions will no longer be a joke, no matter the score, but will give everything that they have, for the entire 4 quarters, no slackers, no letdown, and regardless of the people who are on the field.
The Lions have played with guys that might not have qualified for the NFL, but given the chance, have taken it, and run with it. They have been hit hard with injuries, but that is just part of the game, and never an excuse.
Fans seem to expect them to be Superbowl contenders next year, but that simply won't happen. But the following year, with some luck, and avoiding injuries, getting the linemen back that they lost to injuries this year, and have them fully healthy, in two years, they will be a legitimate contender, especially if Jared Goff can get into his form where he belongs, which is more than likely after working with his receivers for another year. He got better as the year went on, and he became more familiar with the routes that his receivers were running, and they also became familiar with how he would throw the ball. At the professional level, things are much different than at the college, or even at the high school level. I doubt that an average high school player could even catch some of the passes that an NFL quarterback zips into traffic to an open receiver.

    Funny, but cold.
    Rest in peace, Coach.

  6. #11 John Madden was my favorite football coach and commentator. Now the Good Lord has taken him from me.
Betty White was my favorite actress and star. Now the Good Lord has taken her away from me.
I am almost afraid to tell everyone that Joe Biden is my favorite President and politician.
