There is no going back

“[People] want to go back to the way things were, but I know the truth. There’s no going back. You’ve changed things. Forever.”

The Joker’s speech might one day be hailed as prophecy. For more than just that one line.

People are, indeed, claiming they want to get back to the ‘old normal’ but that’s not possible now. Truth is, a lot of people didn’t actually like the old normal. Their lives were empty of meaning, the drudge of the daily grind was getting them down. And I can understand that even though I didn’t really experience it.

  1. This is so true. (Speaking as one who has been red-pilled).

  2. Well, thats true. Look at all the people who had no life spewing their hate on comment sections and now are able to go out in public and get offended by everything and spew on people in person. Can we really deny them of this pleasure?

  4. By the way, today, January 19, is Robert E. Lee's birthday, Stonewall Jackson's is on January 21. Some great articles out there about these outstanding men. Hybo

  5. I've only gotten into trouble with the mask Nazi's once this go-round. It was a bank lobby. Imagine that, getting pulled out because you DON'T wear a mask? Contrary to every comic book hold-up I've ever seen...the bad guy ALWAYS wears a mask, unless we're talking Lone Ranger. Anyhoo it was a happy ending (not that kind) I got my deposit logged and never touched a mask.

  6. We might get back to the old normal when two thirds of the world population are dead. Just quite a bit older a normal than anyone was expecting. Back to feudalism.

When I was born, the world population was less than a third what it is now, and the US population was under half what it is now.

But it will not be more than twenty years from now that most of the Boomers are dead, and a huge fraction of the "vaccinated" will be dead, and very, very, very many of the terminally dumbed will be dead, and it will keep on like that until the staggeringly wealthy have just enough of us left to serve them. It's their idea of saving the planet. The not even remotely meek inheriting the world.

    1. "to serve them"

With potatoes and gravy? I prefer beef and chicken. Although turkey is an outstandingly good deal right now.

    2. "to serve them"

They'll taste like pork. Oh the irony.
