I’ve used Gorilla duct tape to secure an extension cord to a cement garage floor (Xmas lights for the season, for a client). Not only did it stick, I had to scrape it off in the spring. No, I’m not associated with the company.
Before retiring my crews would go thru about 2 pallets of duct tape. Trust me, there is nothing you are using duct tape on that could justify the added expense. Get the cheapest on the shelf!
I don't know the brand but the stuff I used to patch the fenders of my old truck to pass inspection, lasted and lasted until it was just fabric and glue then just glue. Daryl
When small passenger planes were not pressurised I often looked out a window and saw duct tape covering sections of wing, engine cowls, or undercarriage. Of course it was silver coloured, maybe to make it less obvious to a nervous passenger. That must have been the best. Probably 3M.
Which ever one will shut up he liberals pie hole.
ReplyDeleteEven cheap chinesium duct tape wrapped several times around a head at pie hole level would do it!
DeleteDon't forget to put a couple of turns around nose level as well.
DeleteGorilla Tape, by far the best all around tape as far as my opinion flies...

Vintage term for it from drag racers and pilots was 200mph tape. For what it's worth.
DeleteAs far as tape goes, don't have a clue. However Gorilla Glue make one hell of a hairspray for minority hairdos!
